benefit of the media The 30-year-old Cummings, who has a 17-1 record since turning pro in 1979 after being released from prison, weighed 228*4. Frazier weighed 229*4. Frazier, who earned several million dollars and got worldwide attention for his great three-fight series with Muhammad Ali, is getting $85,000 plus sls expenses for his comeback, which will not be televised in the United States. When Frazier put his gloves on the wall back in 1976, he had a 32-4 record, with 27 knockouts. He won the undisputed heavyweight championship with a fifth-round knockout of Jimmy Ellis Feb. 16, 1970 and, after four defenses, lost it to Foreman on a second-round knockout Jan. 22, 1973. One of those defenses was the decision over Ali March 8,1971.
