Marriage puts even more confidence into Foster

TAMPA. Fla (AP) - George Foster, the reigning home run king of the Cincinnati Reds, says he might have been a lonely super star if he hadn’t filled an emptvness in his life. Now. he says the Reds as well as he will benefit from his decisive action—marriage. “Now and then you sense there’s a void and sooner or later you sense what it is," Foster said. “Then it's a matter of finding someone to fill that void "Everybody is ready for marriage at a different time. 1 was ready at 30." Foster and Sheila Roberts were married last winter They had known each other since before high school but according to Foster, “really started getling serious back in 1970."
