Heloise: Tip helps children become better travelers
DEAR HELOISE: When traveling with children in the summertime when it gets so hot, I like to take a pint plastic bottle and fill it three-fourths full with water. Then I put the lid on and stick it in the freezer. When I am going to be gone for a long period (or even a couple of hours), I take the bottle out of the freezer and fill with water. Then I give a bottle to each child (I like to mark with different color ' lids). When they get thirsty, they can have a cold drink of water. Surprising how it helps children to be better little

Last year was my parents’ silver anniversary and 1 came across this great idea. 1 bought a picture album with the clear plastic sheets. I took pictures of my sisters, myself and our families and made a pictorial history of our lives, starting with a picture of my parents when they were babies, when they were married and on down the line, including the last baby that was born to my sister. I hardly need to tell you that they were both surprised and thrilled at something they could take anywhere, could be displayed with any decor and were proud of as well.

You should hear all the compliments! Laura L. Sartor 1 , DEAR HELOISE: The best wav I have found to freshen shredded cocoanut is to soak it in a little sweet milk a few minutes before using it. This works especially well if you have opened a box and forgotten to close it real tight (this is my favorite trick). Mrs. W.W.
