s RUSSELLVILLE - The household goods sale of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Wilson, held Saturday, July 21, was well attended. Mrs. Wilson has moved into the Cloverleaf Apartments in Crawfordsville and her husband, Ellis, is a patient in Ben Hur Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bird of terre Haute are the parents of a son, Michael Alan, born July 16 in Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. Mrs. Bird is the former Leah McGaughey. Maternal grandparents are Charles “Chuck” McGaughey of Russellville’ and maternal gfeat-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McGaughey, also of Russellville. Mrs. Pauline Jacobs of Whitelake, N. Y., is the great-great-grandmother. Paternal grandmother is Mrs. Georgia Bird and paternal great-grandmother is Mrs. Lizzie Kerns, both of French Lick. Mrs. Wildas Jones of Crawfordsville was a Wednesday guest of Mrs. Bea Hazlett and Thursday afternoon, Mrs. Peg Scott of Russellville was a guest of Mrs. Hazlett.

Mr. and Mrs. William Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wilbert, all of Crawfordsville; and Mrs. Russ Calvert of Russellville called at a funeral home in Greenfield to pay respects to the family of Richard Weaver, who was killed in an accident in Florida. His father, Kenneth Weaver, was a former Russellville High School coach. Mrs. Eunice Machall, Mrs. Thelma Grimes and Mrs. Barbara Parrish and sons attended the Fincastle Country Club meeting July 18 in the home of Mrs. Pat Beams, near Fincastle. 4 Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Pitchock and sons of Greencastle were Monday evening, July 16, guests of Mrs. Zella Clark and Mrs. Eva Ferguson. Mrs. Bea Hazlett accompanied Mrs. Iris Fitzsimmons of Crawfordsville to Lafayette July 20 and they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Don Childress of Linden.
