Thanksgiving Day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Everman were Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Everman and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Perkins and Mrs. Golda Perkins. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Duncan and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gil Clonce and Mrs. Kathleen Penn were Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Chastain and Steve. Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Asher entertained with a turkey dinner Mr. and Mrs. Tony Asher and children and Mr. and Mrs. James Spears and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Simpson were Thursday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Frazier and Julie. The annual Holland reunion was held Thanksgiving day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Holland and family. It was also a birthday anniversary for Mrs. Loie Holland. Calendar of events

Today Kappa Delta Phi will meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the DePauw Union Building, Room 212. Maple Heights Friendship Club will meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Irene Grubb, Martinsville St. Members please bring prize and grab bag gift. Active chapter of Tri Kappa will meet Tuesday at the Central National Bank at 8 p.m. Delta Theta Tau will hold a dinner meeting at the Union Building on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Hostesses wil be Mrs. Mary Frazier, Mrs. Freydis Stewart, Mrs. Helen Jerrald, and Mrs. Charlotte Swope. Monday Club will meet Tuesday at Torr’s Restaurant for a noon luncheon. There will be a 50 cents gift exchange. Morning Musicale Christmas meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Ralph W. Graham, 703 Highridge Ave. Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The musicgals of the club will present a Christmas program. All members will have an opportunity to sing carols. Over the Tea Cups will meet Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Mrs. H.A Troyer, 501 Ritter Ave. Wednesday The Ladies Fire Auxiliary will meet at the Madison Township Firehouse at 7:30 Wednesday for the regular meeting. Please bring table service, salad and a 29 cent gift. The Putnam County Historical Society will meet Wednesday. Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Torr’s Restaurant. O.D. Williams will be the guest speaker. The Board of Directors and members of the Greencastle Chamber of Commerce will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Greencastle High School cafeteria. A good attendance is desired.

Greencastle chapter 255 O.E.S. will hold a stated meeting Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is to bring a wrapped present for the Christmas party following the meeting. Thursday The Afternoon Circle of the Presbyterian Church will meet Thursday at 2p.m. with Miss Grace Browning. Friday Greencastle Barracks 114 and auxiliary. Veterans of World War I. will hold their regular monthly meeting Friday at noon. A pitch-in dinner will be followed by the Christmas party and short separate meetings. There will be a $1 gift exchange for the men and women. Please note the difference in the time of the meeting. The meeting Aill be held at the VFW home.
