Indiana Gas Company filed a petition with the Public Service Commission of Indiana on July 10 for adjustments in rates that would result in an overall increase in gas revenues of approximately SK.800.000 or 13.5 percent. Because the acquisition by Indiana Gas of all the outstanding stock of Central Indiana Gas on De. 31. 1973 was treated as a purchase, the earnings of this subsidiary are not includable for periods prior to the date of acquisition.
