retire the side and throw' the sixth frame, in which he was nicked for another insurance marker by the winners. Don Walton received credit for the 10-6 win, finding his toughest tests to be Russ Hull, who singled twice and homered, and Del Staley who added a double to a pair of singles. Querry singled twice for Putnam Inn, while Bullock doubled and Pete Norris singled once. Besides McCullough's round tripper, all of the winners’ hits were singles, two each coming off the bats of Dave Rhon, Don Walton, Mike Hammond, and Jon Hammond. McCullough contributed a single in addition to his homer. He was joined in the one single category by teammates Dave Walton. Gary Satterfield, Kent Frazier, and Willie Parton. The victory propells Torr's-Walton to tonight's final round game or games, depending on whether or not
they can dispose of whoever makes it out of the losers' bracket in the first contest this evening. By winning Tuesday Cloverdale IGA earned the right to meet Castle-Brack-ney's in the first game last night, with the winner to take on Putnam Inn in the nightcap. The winner of that second game will take the field against Torr's-Walton in tonight's opener. If Torr's-Walton wins that one. they will be crowned the champion of the double elimination tourney. If they lose, a second game will be necessary to determine the titlist. Cloverdale IGA paved the way for their advancement Tuesday by exploding for seven runs in the second inning of the opener with Livestock. From there they added a lone run in the third and three each in the fourth and fifth to coast on into a 14-4 victory. Norm Hoffa picked up the win for Cloverdale IGA with
four innings of no runs, two hit pitching. Mike Comer mopped up in the fifth through seventh frames, yielding all four Livestock runs on four hits. Rich Coffey led the losers' six hit attack with a triple and single, while Bonebreak singled twice and Steve Jones and Randy Jones once each.
