DEARBORN, Mich. (AP> A week-old strike at a Ford stamping plant forced the firm to shut down two more auto assembly plants today, leaving nearly 14,000 workers idle at six facilities. The latest shutdowns will affect 1,650 hourly workers at the Twin Cities auto and truck plant in St. Paul, Minn., and 3,400 at the Oakville, Ont., car assembly facility. The strike by 3,800 United Auto Workers at Chicago Heights, 111., entered its seventh day in a dispute over working conditions. Layoffs began Monday at four other plants. Affected were 1,400 workers in Los Angeles; 3,100 in St. Thomas, Ont.: 1.900 at the Oakville truck plant; and 2,500 at the Kansas City. Mo., auto assembly line. Ford said the assembly plants were closed because the flow of parts from the strikebound factory was cut off. The stamping plant makes 80 per cent of the firm’s truck body parts as well as auto hoods, doors, roofs and other com-
