DePauw’s varsity tennis team won its second match in as many tests Wednesday, smashing Butler University here 9-0. The victory was DePauw’s second in Indiana Collegiate Conference action. It beat Evansville 54 last week and Saturday plays at Indiana Central. Tiger number one singles player Greg Reed got DePauw off to a winning start with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Carter Ryan. Through stories deplicting the success of the little man in basketball, Eskew told the basketbell players, coaches, and cheerleaders in attendance that there is no substitute for determination in making a w inner.
