Early in life, the prodigal son left home to make his own way in the world. But without his father’s guidance, he lost all he had and became entangled in a web of despair. Self-pity was his only friend. Then one day he decided to return home and ask to become his father’s servant, nothing more. He had not gone very far, when he was met by his loving, forgiving father, who called him son

and helped him back home.

Many Christians also feel trapped, entangled in

their own web of despair. They have shut themselves

off from their Heavenly Father. Like the prodigal, they must take the first step on their own in order to return home. Once that

difficult first step is taken, God

will help them the rest of the way. Maybe you should take your first step out of

that web. God will help you back.

Let us support her program of service to humanity, be a faithful worker, a daily bible reader and attend services] regularly.
