A colorful crowd of roc teis always follows the Artesian team to Bloomington and tomorrow night probably will he no exception. Between them, the Bloomington and Martinsville fang should about fill the gym. The -writer also looks forward to the annual visit of Frankie Good, genial Martinsville Reporter scribe, who has been witness to many great Martinsville triumphs in the past.

ing m much better style than they did a.t times in the Vincennes encounter If they toss away as many chances as they did against the Alices, Martinsville will win. Thus far this effusion has been all Martinsville. That's to impress the Panthers they have a job on their hands. But we do not mean; to hand the game to Martinsville before it is played or even afterwards. We believe Bloomington has a better ball club than Martinsville and that the Panthers can win If they start playing basketball at the starting whistle and keep it up until the final gun.-

MEET IRISH LAFAYETTE, Ind., Dec. .19. One of the greatest games of the basketball season is expected here Friday night when Notre Darnels powerful combination, built around Ed Krause, all-American center, invades Purdue in an effort to secure revenge for the defeat it was

handed last, season. The game will

provide the acid test for Ward Lambert's reconstructed Big Ten champion's who launched their season with a victory over Miami, but at the same time lacked the finish that characterized ' last- year's play. As a sidelight of . the : game, an interesting individual duel is expected at-center, where two of the country's, outstanding football tackles of the country, Krause of the Irish, and William (Dutch) Fehring, a member of Purdue's undefeated eleven, who is captain-elect of the gridders,' will match ability..
