Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority

Gives Anniversary Dinner Party

entertained with a Christmas dinner party in Jthe banquet room of the Graham hotel Saturday evening in celebration, of the 5th anniversary of thei organization. Initiation services for seven pledges were held following the" dinner. The initiates were: Mrs. ,Velma Weaver Mrs. Dana Jones, Mrs. Dawn Jones, Mrs. Louise Hudelson, Mrs; Sally Edwards, Mr?. Elizabeth Smith and Mrs. Gertude Rich. ; sThe-1 room, was beautifully decor"&jed in Christmas colosiL lighted Kappa Kappa Sigina pin formed the center of attractioli. ' The table was decorated with red tapers, holly .and pionsettias. The grand inspectress 'Mrs!. Marian Wilson, of Rushy? lie, ...was a Ruest of honor. Mrs. Fannie Weatherwax. assistant to the Dean of Women at Indiana university, gave a talk on "The Pan Hellenic Ideal." The sorority president, Mrs. Ruth Fowler, who was introduced by Mrs. Weathervax, welcomed the new pledges with an Appropriate speech. A history of the sorority was given by frsV Mildred Rowland. The program was closed with the sorority son,-"Kappa Kappa Sigma Girl" sung by Mrs. Rowena Gpok. . who was accompanied by Mrs: , Dana Jones. i The committee in charge of the party , included .. Surprise Party Held at Lentz Home A surprise birthday party wa3 held Wednesday at the" home of Fred Lentz.
