As Faulkner Mortuary enters into its 60th year in serving the Muncie community, we realize the role we have in preserving this history for future generations. In the six decades that we have served, our staff has aged and evolved from Edgar Faulkner Sr., our founder, Charles Frazier, Lonnie Motley, Jessie Leavell, Irvin Leavell, Doris Faulkner Stewart, Lula Reynolds, Mammie Edwards, Rev. J.D. Roberson and Herman Baker to our present staff. Our effort to remain ‘First in Service’, ‘First in Quality’ and ‘Fairest in Price’ carries on to the present day. For this reason we are introducing three new packages to benefit the needs of our community on an at need basis.

It also includes embalming of the deceased which is not required by law except in certain cases as public viewing. It also covers other preparations and dressing. There may be an additional charge if extensive restorative art is required. Provided will be a list of those caskets which are offered in this particular package (20 gauge base metal). Also covered is the use of the hearse to the cemetery or crematory. A one hour visitation prior to service will be granted as well. Memorial programs (max 100) and a casket spray when there is not the presence of a veteran’s flag, will be included. A memorial register is provided. ($ 1,995.00) Economical Package #2 Package two is similar to package one except we offer a list of mid range 20 gauge metal caskets with the use of an eight passenger limousine. ($2,895.00) Economical Package #3 Our third package is similar to package one except we offer a list of 20 gauge gasketed caskets, use of an eight passenger limousine and 200 Memorial programs. ($4,595.00) All packages are priced on an at need bases. Cemetery expenses are not included in packages. All packages are cash or cashier’s check paid 24 hours prior to funeral services.
