PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY Temporary full-time staff position available August 1, 2008. This is a 10-month position with possibility of renewal. Work hours are 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Sunday through Thursday. Responsibilities: perform ticketing of vehicles, provide customer service, conduct emergency phone checks, perform booting/towing, and various errands. Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or GED; over three months of customer service experience; possess and maintain a valid Indiana Driver’s License; ability to lift up to 35-pound booting apparatus. Preferred qualifications: up to eighteen months of education beyond high school; over one year of customer service experience. Hourly rate is $10.03 with excellent benefits. PROJECT COORDINATOR CENTER for MEDIA DESIGN Position available immediately (40 hours/week as arranged). Responsibilities: perform project coordination for specific digital media projects for the Institute for Intermedia Art and Animation; perform organizational and technical duties associated with projects relating to animation, interactive and video projects or programs; oversee student work on those projects; maintain records for reports to external funding agencies; maintain database for future grants, commissions, festivals and other external opportunities. This is a temporary full-time staff position funded through June 30, 2009 and may or may not be renewed. Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree or equivalent; at least three months of experience creating digital media and using post production/production tools. Preferred qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; demonstrated experience with advanced software applications: i.e. Maya, Max/MSP/Jitter, After Effects, DVD Studio Pro and Pro Tools; familiarity with university policies, academic departments and administrative offices. Starting salary $29,348 with an excellent benefits package.
