Ivy Tech Community College - East Central Region is recruiting part - time instructor positions beginning 2007 Fall Semester August 20, 2007, at the Muncie, Anderson, Marion campuses and regional sites Psychology Instructors: at the Muncie campus, Portland and Winchester sites: Minimum Qualifications: Master’s with eighteen (18) months graduate semester hours in Psychology - related courses. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Teaching experience at post- secondary level. Dental Assisting Assistants: at the Anderson campus: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or higher, is a Certified Dental Assist (CD) and has two (2) years of directly related work experience. Design Technology Instructors: at Muncie, Anderson and Marion campuses to teach Land surveying and Descriptive Geometry.: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or higher in technology or the appropriate field and has one of the following: a) Professional certification in the filed; b) Two (2) years directly work experience. Preferred Qualifications: Registered Professional Land Surveyor or has a minimum four (4) to eight (8) years of directly related work experience; Automotive: at Muncie campus for Alternative Fuels and Transmission classes. A qualified faculty member in automotive technology is one who has an earned baccalaureate or higher degree in supervision, business, or industrial/vocational education; with academic accredited institution with an advanced - level, national certification appropriate to the course being taught; and has one of the following: a) Professional certification in the field; b) Two years of directly related work experience. Manufacturing & Industrial Technology Instructors for Anderson, Marion and Muncie campuses. Minimum Qualifications: A qualified faculty member in Manufacturing and Industrial Technology is one who has an earned baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution, in Technology, Chemistry, Physics or Engineering, or an associate degree in Technology , with a baccalaureate or higher degree in supervision, business, or industrial/vocational education; with academic preparation appropriate to the course and/or specialty being taught. These positions assist the librarian by providing paraprofessional library support. Work requires independent judgment and skills in operation of a variety of office machines and functional expertise in common library duties; some cataloging responsibilities as assigned. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum Qualifications: Over two (2) years of related experience in a computerized work environment.
