PT PROJECT SECRETARY J-IDEAS, DEPARTMENT of JOURNALISM Part-time staff position (20 hours/week; mornings: 8-12; Monday - Friday) available immediately. This position is grant funded, and the current grant extends to January 2008. Responsibilities: provide administrative/secretarial support and office organization and coordination to the Journalism Institute for Digital Education, Activities, and Scholarship (J-IDEAS), a high school journalism and First Amendment project. Minimum qualifications: eighteen months of education or training beyond high school or equivalent; at least one year of office organizational or related experience; database experience. Preferred qualifications: administrative experience in an educational setting; proficiency with Excel and Access; experience with grant funded projects; some knowledge of journalism. Hourly rate $11.43.
