continued from page 39 lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death; and ye shall slay the beast. And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Lev. 20:13, 15, 16) From these foregoing scriptures, the sins of homosexuality and lesbianism are called an abomination. An abomination is an unclean thing, a sin against
nature, a sin against the purpose of creation, a sin that is detestable or unclean. These types of sins will result in the demise and destruction of any society. They are poison to any republic or society. As cyanide will cause anybody to die, the sins such as homosexuality, lesbianism are a dose of cyanide to any social class. While any sin will bring death to the doer, in the process of time, these abominable sins that we are discussing will cause self-destruction overnight. The sins of homosexuality, sodomy, and lesbianism have a tendency to cause society to accept them to be practiced as lawful acts. If then, we accept murder, rape,
homosexuality, lesbianism, robbery, gambling, as a way of life, the result will be as it was in the days of Noah and the in days of Lot, when God brought the flood and fire and brimstone. The great plight in our day is that the sins of homosexuality and lesbianism are becoming a tolerated lifestyle in our society.' While adultery, fornication, and incest are frowned upon, the sins of homosexuality with their multiple partners are tolerated. We are on a fast track to self-destruction. The scripture further states: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and
their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, Who is blessed for ever. Amen. (Rom. 1:21-25) For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections; for even their women did change the
natural use into that which is against nature; and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
