Executive Director

The Board of Directors for the South Madison Community Center and the Buley Community Center in Muncie, IN, is seeking a full-time Executive Director with at least a High School diploma. Experience in supervising, managing, & administering Christian-based programming to inner city/urban youth preferred. Duties include but are not limited to: overseeing the centers’ daily operations; ensuring effective execution of mission, goals, and objectives for the centers; performing supervisory meetings and performance evaluations for the center’s staff; coordinating with the Board of Directors to develop annual budget and programming/services objectives, identifying capital improvements and ensuring center’s conformity to state operational regulations; assisting with identifying potential sources of grant funding and developing & maintaining grant proposal correspondence and documentation; supervising the recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers and work-study personnel; and provides monthly status report for the Board of Directors’ meetings. Salary range $30-36,000 based on experience and qualifications.
