Part-time staff position (20 hours/week, MWF 8:00 a.m. - noon; TTH 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.) available immediately through June 30, 2006. The position may not be renewed. Responsibilities: provide support and assistance to the Office of Charter School Research; serve as a contact for individuals both on and off campus; work closely with the Office of the Mayor of Indianapolis. Minimum qualifications: eighteen months of education or training beyond high school or equivalent; at least one year of related experience. Preferred qualifications: proficiency with word

processing and database software. Hourly rate $11.43.

Technology Program Coordinator - Responsibilities: development/administration of Neighborhood Networks HOPE VI Technology Grant Program; resident-driven program development and execution; technology and software instruction; minor equipment maintenance; recruit and supervise volunteers and resident employees; program marketing and promotion; assist with participant tracking and program evaluation/assessment; and frequent interaction with local service providers, collaborating organizations, and other stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications: two-year technology-related training, program development skills, or education degree; working knowledge of standard software systems (Microsoft and Adobe); Extensive understanding of IT systems, local area network set-up, and a wide array of comput-er-related uses and programs. Preferred Qualifications: 2 yrs experience running a community technology center, 2+ years of teaching, administrative experience. Sales and business administration experience. 4-yr degree in Information Systems, Instructional Technology, Library Science, or other academic discipline or similar field; software certifications [i.e. Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS), Adobe Certified Expert (ACE), and Macromedia Certified Professional (MCP)] or similar academic recognition and experience.
