Taylor Mason
By Maurice Taylor-EL. Taylor Mason 10 attends North View Elementary School and has a 4.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and is a 5th grade student. Math is
his favorite subject, but he also enjoys spending lots of his free time reading books. “Jurassic Park Survivor,” by Dan JP3 Page is his favorite book. Caroline King his 2nd grade teacher remains his favorite schoolteacher. The
school sports activities he enjoys most are soccer and basketball. Taylor a member of the Cub Scouts of America; Pack 56, Rod Case is his Pack leader. Taylor wants to become a professional soccer player after completing school and also help his father produce music. Kevin Garnette a professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timber Wolfs and Freddie Doo a 15, year old professional soccer player on the Olympic team are Taylor’s role models. Jama and Timothy Mason are Taylor’s parents. Jama is a paralegal for a Muncie law firm. Mason is a Ball State employee and CEO for Stronghold Mgt. An upcoming Muncie music company who is working on a community projects called
“Hood Friendly.” Taylor’s birthday is January 1, in 1999 he was the 2nd born baby in Muncie. His favorite color is blue, and favorite food is pizza. He likes Mexican food, chocolate cherry ice cream. “Jesus Walks,” is his favorite song by Kanye West. He often spends many hours of his spare time skate boarding and says he can even do what is called a grind by jumping from the sidewalk on his skateboard to a railing and sliding down the rail on his skateboard. Taylor is a very interesting youth whose parents are very supportive of, who work and spend much of their spare time encouraging him in his new endeavors. They assist him in the ones that are worth while and help him to chose
between the ones that are not worth encouragement. “My son is a people person he likes playing with younger children but enjoys playing with children on his own level too, he is a good student. I think he will succeed in life because he has the best of two worlds. His mother works with him on his school work and I work with Taylor helping with life skills teaching him the pluses and minuses of life,” said Mason. “ Taylor is a good child compassionate, considerate, and very diverse. I think he will succeed in life due to the encouragement he receives from family and friends. I know he will make us proud of him in whatever path he chooses to take in life,” said Jama.
