Mrs. Harold Harris, a recent bride of Detroit, Mich., and daughter in law of Mrs. Mamie Harris of E. Kirk St. was an honored guest and members of the club and other guests showered her with handkerchiefs. Attending were, Mrs. Lifford Levi, Mrs. Grovelle Peele, Mrs. Louis Day, Mrs. Ben Nash, Mrs. Schuyler Goings, Mrs. Bertie Dervall, Mrs. Margaret Taylor, Mrs. Harold Harris, Mrs. Ray Armstrong, Mrs. Mamie Harris and Mrs. Goatley. Mrs. William Curl, of S. Blaine St. entertained the members of the Wobelo League at recent meeting. Miss. Maggie Jones, president, presided at the meeting. Plane were discussed for the annual Christmas party. Mrs. Peru Wilks house guest of Mrs.

The Rocky Shore Quartet will present a program Sunday, Oct. 25 at the union Baptist Church, sponsored for the Missionary. The Rev. Bernard White of South Bend is conducting a 10-day meeting beginning Monday, Oct. 19, and will continue
through Oct. 30 at the union Baptist Church. The "Mediators" of Indianapolis will render a program Sunday afternoon after at the Union Baptist Church for the Sunday school Dept. The meeting of the North Eastern District of Federated Clubs will convene at the Shaffer Chapel AME Church Saturday at 10 a.m. Dr. and Mrs. A. Wayne Brooks of E. Kirby Ave. spent the week end in Ann Arbor, Mich., and visited friends en route at Ft. Wayne. While in An Arbor they were the guests of the Rev. and Mrs. C.W. Carpenter. The Rev. J.C. Roberts of Detroit, Mich., will conduct a ten day meeting at the Trinity Methodist Church beginning Oct. 19. The 31st. anniversary of Christ Temple and pastor, the Rev. Sanders, will begin at the Temple, Oct. 18 through the

AEP Donates Computers to MOM’S
American Electric Power was pleased to donate 20 Dell computers and 15 Dell Laptop computers to the Motivate Our Minds after-school tutoring and enrichment program.
