Phyllis Wheatley Branch Y.W. At a meeting of the Young Matron's Club Tuesday night, special plans for attendance at summer conference were discussed. The party, to have been given Tuesday night, June 6, has been indefinitely postponed. Mrs. Thelma Hall, president presided. Others attending were Mrs. Elizabeth Duncan, Mrs. Bette Davis, Mrs. Marjory Frazier, Mrs. Elizabeth Bass, Mrs. Edna Ferguson and Mrs. Nettye Riffe. Girl Reserves from Blaine and Wilson High schools entertained guests at a party Monday afernoon in the assembly room. Games were played and refreshments served.

Attending were Gertrude Calvin, Christine Peck, Rosemary Burham, Lois Smith, Janice Redfern, Elaine Duncan, Martha Bell Bass, Elsie Smith, Cleita Pierce and Virgie Lee Johnson. Also Edna Smith, Bernice Stratton. Emogene Morin, Virginia Brewer, Jeanette Glenn, Francis Hudson, Juanita Murray, Sandra Davis, Margaret Hammonds, Barbara Jean Parker, Margaret Oaldon and Thelma Daugherty. Members present were Roseanne Glenn, Pauline Harris, Pauline Graves, Janice Davis, Millicent Goens, Doris Day, Willa Lee Cocklow, Myrtle Moore, Catherine Walker, Goldie Williams, Greta Clemmons, Miss Louise Franklin and Miss Eileen Roberts, adviser.
