LOAN PROCESSING ASSISTANT SCHOLARSHIP AND FINANCIAL AID Staff position available immediately. This is a temporary position that continues through June 30, 2003, with no guarantee for renewal. Responsibilities: process Stafford/Plan loan promissory notes from the time the student submits form to when the loan disbursement information has been acknowledge by the Direct Loan Service Center; assist the Loan Processor in originating Stafford/Plus loans including verifying eligibility, budgets, total family contribution, loan limits, and loan periods per federal guidelines. Minimum Qualifications: up to eighteen months of specialized training or education in a computer-related area beyond high school or equivalent: over one year of related experience. Salary $25,001 with excellent benefits.
