University Ave. Anxiety disorders are one of the leading mental health problems currently affecting children and adolescents. The wide range of stressors associated with growing up in today's society requires that our children have the appropriate coping skills. The consequences of undiagnosed or untreated anxiety disorders can range from poor self-esteem, behavioral problems and poor academic performance to substance abuse and suicide.
