Buley, South Madison schedule banquet for Dec. 14

By Judy Mays In celebration of autumn and Native American heritage, the Muncie Children’s Museum is hosting Harvest Days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 17 to 18 and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 19. Admission is $5. There will be activities and crafts. **** Indiana State University’s Dr. Richard Zielinski is the guest conductor of the Northside Middle School and Muncie Central High School choirs presentation of “One Song, Many Voices” in Central’s auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16. The public is invited. **** Agape Youth Ministries will present “O’ Come Let Us Adore Him,” a Christmas concert of music, dance and flags. The program starts at 7 p.m. on Dec. 2. Buley Community Centers will host Celebration 2000 Awards Banquet on Dec. 14 to recognize the achievements and participation .of youths involved in the centers’ programs. The festivities include dinner, a Christmas celebration and gift give away, special awards and youth performances. About 600 children are expected to attend this affair. Sponsors are needed. On November 24-26, 2000, from 1 p.m.to 4 p.m., you can have your child’s picture take with Santa Claus or with huge paper matche Polar Bears that Santa brought with him from the North Pole. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m.to 5 p.m. Museum admission is $5 per child, ages 1 to 100.
