Local Resident Awarded Scholarship at Taylor University Fort Wayne Campus FORT WAYNE, INDIANA—Terrance Bridges, resident of Muncie, IN, has been awarded the Herald Welty Scholarship during a special Scholarship Awards Luncheon at Taylor University Fort Wayne campus. Bridges, is at the university majoring in pastoral ministries. His involvements are numberous, including: multicultural council representative, student senate, chair of student committee for Martin Luther King Day, prayer council representative, and was a tutor for Project Read. He has traveled to Jamaica and Haiti with Taylor World Outreach. He serves as the family/church relations coordinator, a worship leader, and an associate pastor for the Union Baptist Church in Muncie, Ind. The Herald Welty Scholarship is provided by Henry and Dolores Welty, along with many family members and dear friends. Recipients of this scholarship must possess a commendable Christian character, a sincere commitment and a positive Christike attitude.
