Charles W. Long
IraB. McKisack, 76,1406E. Fifth Street, passed away Sunday, February 8,1998 at her home after a long illness. Mrs. McKisack was bom in Luxora, Arkansas and had lived in Muncie for the past 53 years. She retired in 1992 from Action Inc. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she belonged to the Willing Workers. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Joe F. McKisack; two daughters, Dorothy Mae Hairston and Novie Mason; two sisters, Mary Shaw and Pearlie Davis; a brother, Allen Hall; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were handled by Faulkner Mortuary.

Charles W. Long, 67, died Monday, Febmary 2, 1998 in Ball Memorial Hospital. Mr. Long was born in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Long, Sr. He moved to Muncie 54 years ago. He was a graduate of Burt High School in Clarksville, Tennessee. He also was a veteran from the Army and was a retired custodian from Ball State University. He was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Usher Board, Deacon Board and Financial Secretary. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 34 years, Rosemary Long; two sons, Michael Hall, Kelvin L. Long (wife, Josie); two daughters, Charlezetta Edwards, Misty E. Jefferson (husband, John); two brothers, Cleve Long, Jr., James “Deck” Long (wife, Evelyn); a special uncle, Barker Dever Haynes; 15 grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral arrangements were handled by Carmichael Funeral Services. Mary “TOT” McCray Hill Mary “TOT” Hill was bom Mary Jordan on May 2, 1937 to Maggeline and the late John Burnett in Marks, MS. At a young age, Tot moved to Marion, IN. She confessed Jesus Cfcrist at an early age. She later united with Grace Missionary Baptist Church. Tot was united in holy matrimony in 1953 to L. C. McCray. To this union seven children were bom. Tot made it her goal to encourage others to trust God to provide the way, no matter what the situation may be. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories: Her mother, Maggeline Burnett, Marks, MS. Three daughters: Gloria J. McCray Willis (Harold), Lompoc, CA, Rita L. McCray and Tammy D. Mitchell (Carter), both of Marion, IN. Four sons: Leon C. McCray, Terre Haute, IN, Elder Rickey A. McCray, Bowling Green, KY, Anthony (Tony) McCray (Jacqueline), Marion, IN and Herman D. McCray, Champaign, IL. Eight sisters: Lucille Brown and Alberta Hughes, both of Chicago, IL, Virginia Crawford and Martha Staten, both of Marks, MS, Lucy Mable, Helen, AK, Ruth Jennings, Patty Williams and Eloise Hood, all of Anderson, IN. Six brothers: Fred Lee Burnett (Inez), Marion, IN, John Burnett, Chicago, IL, Jessie and Robert Burnett, both of Los Angeles, CA, Moses Burnett, Marks, MS and George Jordan of Alabama. Twenty-two grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral arrangements were handled by Gholar & Gholar Funeral Services.
