Genesis Genesis 1:1: Genesis is a Greek name and has to do with beginnings. It deals with a lot of firsts. The book of firsts. Here with have a divine happening that gives us a principle. We establish the law of the first mentioning of things. For example, the first way that the Holy Ghost was used in Genesis: sets a precedent for the understanding of the spirit of God down through the ages. Genesis 1:2: “And the earth was without form, and void: and darkness was upon the face of the water. We have the spirit of God moved upon the face of the water. We have the spirit of God associated with water. The law of the first mentioning of things, shows us the spirit of God and water is always associated. For example: in Exodus when the children of Israel crossed the Red Sea, this is a baptism. But, yet that is not the baptism ofthe Holy Ghost. But the Holy Ghost baptism is synonymous. Therefore they have another water to cross before they get into the Promised Land. That is the water of Jordan. So there are two waters of baptisms. 1 Corinthians 10:1: Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud and all passed through the sea and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea: And did all eat the same spiritual meat; and did all drink the same spiritual drink; for they drank of the spiritual rock that followed them: and that rock was Christ. Now he spiritualized those events and got into the divine principle. What water did they go under when they passed through the sea? So you have walls on this side and wall on the other side and water on top their heads so they were baptized. Totally covered. They were baptized unto Moses, and, of course, they

have to have a last baptism. The water out of the rock is associated with the spirit. I am showing you wherever you find water in the Bible as relating to the Spirit. It is associated with the spirit. The spirit is like water. It is understood like water. 1 Corinthians 12:12: “For by one spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles whether we be bond or free and have been all made to drink into one spirit.” The baptism in the spirit signifies that you have been completely covered by the spirit. The spirit then would be above all, through all and in all. We are baptized in the water of the spirit. The spirit of God is always going to be associated with water. Joel2:28: “Andisshall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.” What do you do with water? You pour it out. So since the water and the spirit are presented in the law of the first mentioning of things. If you are going to talk about the spirit, you must use the analogy of water. So God said: “In the last days, I will pour out my spixit upon all flesh,” So then the Holy Ghost and water are synonymous in explaining that particular point. So Genesis brings this first law of mentioning that is going to be constant throughout the Bible in that reference. Ezekiel 47:1:

“Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the hou se: and, behold waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward; for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.” This is an intriguing book and you don’t find many talking about the book of Ezekiel except for the dry bones in the valley. But Ezekiel has some other beautiful things to give unto us. “Water is issued out of the threshold of the house eastward.” Then if that is the case, then water is flowing toward the east or the sunrise, then if the water is associated with the spirit, then that means the revelation and the functioning of the spirit of God increases as we come up into Christ. It is given a certain measure in the beginning. But it flows toward the rising sun. As you walk toward the rising sun it gets brighter.and brighter. So as the water flows eastward the spirit of God is going to get greater and greater as we come closer and closer to the great manifestation of the outpouring of the Holy Ghost. When your pour out something you don’t dish it out or prescribe it out, but without any restriction you just pour it out. Have to ever seen that little inscription on the salt “when it rains, it pours? It demonstrates that particular glorious point. “The measured a thousand cubits, he brought me through the water.” There is a certain measurement now, to

the ankles. Now alot of folks got the Holy Ghost in their feet, in the ankles. And that is as far as they go, measured in the feet, they shout all the time, but don ’ t have nothing more than a shout. You got to be more than that, but the water was up to their ankle. “Again he measured a thousand and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees.” At least we should have enough Holy Ghost to pray. We pray in the Holy Ghost as it says in Jude 20, “Building up yourselves in the most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.” In this I am showing you the law of the first mentioning of things. That law shows you that the Holy Ghost and water are always used to identify each other. St. John 7:37: “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, ‘ ‘If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall slow rivers of hving water. (But this spake He ofthe spirit which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy ghost was not yet given: because Jesus was not yet glorified.) Jesus uses that same point with reference to water. We are studying in the book of Genesis dealing with the outline of that book, which deals with the ‘ ‘firsts, and the law of the first mentioning of things.” Jesus said: “Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” There’s that river again. So the Holy Ghost and water are associated and always moving. The Holy Ghost is an active thing. It moves, it functions, it demonstrates. He has power. He moves. He flows. So out ofhis belly shall flow rivers of living water. St. John 4:14: “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I

shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” In St. John the fourth chapter he is actually dealing with the spirit of God. The water is there. The baptizing is there. The well is there. Jesus is going to talk about water to this woman and He is that sanctuary out of which the water is going to flow. Jesus had that conversation to empathize the water. If you only knew God’s gift and what he’s got for you, the gift of God the Holy Ghost. “If you had only asked him he would give you living water. Now he is talking about springs of water. Water that keeps bubbling up. Water that keeps flowing up. So the first mentioning of the spirit of God is when he moves upon the face of water. There it shows you that the Spirit and the water are associated. Genesis sets the precept or principle upon and by which we should intercept the scriptures in other references. Genesis divided into 11 generations Remember, I told you when you come to this particular point of the understanding of God’s word, God will show you all truths, not only spiritual truths as far as the biblical point in reference to God’s attributes and other principles. Even in the material world you will get a dimension and a degree of truths on any point. You will be able to know laws of everything: botany, zoology, mathematics and all truths. Everything that is true is based upon the truths that God has established. The spirit of God will guide you into all truths. You will be a httle Elohim in a relative sense. Children of God. Sons of God. Then when you are sons of God, then you will be able to somewhat on a relative point, do like God did. “The see GENESIS on page 37
