Judge Robert L. Barnet, Jr., is seeking his fourth term as Judge in Superior Court #1. Judge Barnet, a former chief deputy prosecutor and public defender, has served as Judge of Superior Court #1 since 1978. As Delaware County’s presiding judge, Robert Barnet, Jr., also serves in his third term on the Indiana Judges Association Board of Managers. A life long Delaware County resident, Judge Barnet and his wife, Linda, have three children—Emily, Kathren, and Dan. Judge Barnet makes sure our judicial system recognizes the rights of individuals and promotes respect for our law in Superior Court #1.
