iTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ARING ON APPROPRIATIONS

Section 1. Be it ordained by thfc Common Council of the city of Muncie, that from and after the paseage of this ordinance, blind pedestrians, by holding out horizontally, a white cane in direction they desire to travel over cross-walks, highways, streets, avenues, alleys or other public highways, in the city of Muncie, Indiana, shall be given the right of way over all pedestrians and vehicles, except police patrol, fire department, fire patrol and emergency ambulances. Any person misusing the protection herein afforded to the blind, shall be subject to a fine of not less than |5, nor more than $50 for each separate offense. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect fromabd after its passage by the Common Council and the approval of the mayor thereto and publication according to law.
