Notice is hereby given, to the public and to all contractors, that the Board of Public Works of the City of Muncie, in the State of In diana, invites sealed proposals for the construction, in said City, ac cording to the respective improve ment resolutions below mentioned, and according to the plans, profiles, drawing and specification therefore on file in the office <•:' the Board of each of the public improvements herein below described, towit: I. R. No. 273-1927. Grading and graveling of 14th Street from Hoyt Avenue to East end of Witt Tract. -I. R. No. 724-1927. Sidewalk on South side of 14th Street from Hoyt Avenue East to end of Witt
Tract.
I. R. No. 279-1927. Paving the alley lying between Mound Street and Proud Street from Charles Street to Howard Street. I. R. No. 280-1927. Paving alley between Eleventh Street and Twelfth Street from High Street to Franklin Street. I. R. No. 281-1927. Curb and gutter on both sides of Hutchinson Avenue from Jackson Street to Charles Street. I. R. No. 282-1927. For local sewer in 13th Street from High Street to Franklin Street. 1. R. No. 284-1927. Curb and gutter; also paving of West Gilbert Street from Eight Street to Greenjwood Avenue. I. R. No. 285-1927. Paving of East Gilbert Street from Madison Street to Monroe Street; also paving of Gilbert Street from Pershing Drive or Plum Street to Hackley Street. I. R. No. 286-1927. Paving of Gilbert Street from Monroe Street to Pershing Drive or Plum Street. Each bidde is also to file with Board an affidavit that there has bee nno collusion in anyway affecting said bid, according to the terms of Sec. 95, of the Act of March 6th, 1905. (Acts 1905, p. 219) All such proposals should be sealed, and must be deposited with said Board before the hour of nine o’clock in the forenoon of the 21sl aday of June, 1927, and each such proposal must be accompanied by a certified check payable to said City, for the sum equal to two and one-half per cent (2y 2 %) of City Civil Engineer’s estimate which shall be forfleited to said City as liquidated damages, if the bidder depositing the same shall fail duly and prmptly to execute the required contract and bond, in case a contract shall be awarded him on such accompanying proposal.
