a long delay, is undergoing its preliminaries in the circuit court, in the way of pleas in abatement, etc. With Redkey, as attorney for the defense, it would hardly be proper for Redkey to appear as his judge in the liquor case, so he will no doubt be tried before another special judge. The Post-Democrat recently in commenting on the appointment of Redkey to succeed the late Judge Coons, declared that it was aii. improper appointment and in making that statement he had in mind his ridiculous and utterly uncalled for acquittal of Bob Graves some months ago, when the evidence of the man’s guilt was as clear as the noonday sun. Notwithstanding the undisputed evidence that Bob has been running a blind tiger and crap shooteir for over three years, the police have never been able to convict him. He always escapes by the special judge route. He is Muncie’s chief offender and the appointment of his attorney as city judge, was decidely in poor taste. j
