NOTICE TO TAX-PAYERS
The taxpayers of the City of Muncie Delaware County Indiana, are hereby notified that on 5th day of January, 1925, the Common Council and the Mayor of said city, determined that it was necessary to borrow and authorized the borrowing of Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00) as a temporary loan in anticipation of the current Park Revenue of said city actually levied in the year 1924, to be collected and in the course of collection for the year 1925, for the Park Fund of said city, for the purpose of providing funds for the operation of said parks for the first six months of 1925, as covered by specific appropriations set out in the general
147.63 appropriation ordinance for 1925.
In order to procure said loan tlm notes of said city shall be issuer] and sold in the sum of Eight Thousand Dollars, eight notes in the denomination of One Thousand Dollars each, numbered 1-A to 8-A inclusive, each of said notes to bear interest of Six per cent, payable at th6~ Delawar<> County National Bank of Muncie, Indiana, an authorized depository of said city; said notes to become due June 1st, 1925, to bear date of February 15th, 1925, to be signed by the Mayor, counter-signed by the City Controller, attested by the City Clerk, and sealed with the seal of said city, all of which shall be payable out of the Park Funds of said city when due.
