In our notico of the lecturovf Judge Bold, in last weeks pa per, tho word L0VKI.T occurred, when it should have read lonely, and aiusr.s for graves. We havo sinco been informed that tho packages wero directed to Blooming GroTe and that tho fault was probably our own. This statement is due to all concerned in tho matter.

JÜT "Wayne County Chroulcle," is the name of a new paper just started at Centreville, Wayne County, Ind. It starts out well, both in point of editorial matter and typographical neatness, R.J. Strickland, Esq., the editor and proprietor, is a vigorous writer and a good practical printer, which with the usual liberality of the people of old Wayne, is almost sure to make the enterprise successful. Tub Western Law Monthly. We havo received No. 1. of a now Legal Monthly periodical bearing the above titlo, published ut Cleveland, Ohio, by Ilayden, King & Elwell, and cdilod by C. It. Ilayden, Itufus P. Kaney, J. J. Ell well and M. A. King, all gentlemen of known legal ability. The work is gotten up in neat style, and from tho high legal reputation of tho editors, it will doubtless prove an acceptable jour nal to tho profession. tr Austin Webb will not remove from Blooming Grovo, divers rumors to the contrary, notwithstanding, but will remain at tho old stand, where ho is ready at all times to do anything in his line from making a nail up to repairing an "ingino." Appropos of this subject wo will re mark that tho citizens of Blooming Grove and vicinity request ns to state that a wagon maker is needed in their town, and from what wo know of tho locution Ac, wo lmve no hesitancy in raying that ono would do well at that place. Our political views are known to be adverse to the Kansas policy of the present National Administration, yet we shall always reserve to our self tho right to speak our sentiments and views on all questions of public interest, independent of the dictates of party, upholding that which we deem to be right, aud condemning what we conceive to be wrong. Our terms are okb doi.i.as akd rim crxTS per year, rATAiuc ixirvmc; two noi.un, if paid within six moxths, and a proportional advance at the end of the year.
