Tho facts, a3 wo understand, aro about theso : Dr. Elliott had deposited tho County funds in tho Brookvillo Bank, in his own name. At the timo of his death thcro ,was some 31C00O, or $17000, thus 'deposited. One of his ad ministrators, Mr. Pigman, presented a chock to the bank for the amount, which was refused, Mr. Burton the present Treasurer, on behalf of tho Commis sioners, having notified the Bank not to pay it, alleging that tho money be longed to tho county, and that the Treasurer, should havo charge of it. Tho result is, that a suit has been brought by tho Commissioners and J. C. Burton, the Treasurer, agaiust tho administrator, and administratrix of the cstato of Dr. Elliott, and tho Brookvillo Bank, to enjoin tho former from rocciving or pretending to havo any claim to tho money, and tho latter from paying tho samo to tho administrators. 1ST Marriage Liconso isaued by the Clerk of Franklin County, during the month of March 1853.
