HELPING WITH PAGEANT — Miss Vicki Fuller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Beiswanger of Milford, is among the Ball State university students who have key roles in preparing for the 1%5 Miss Ball State Pageant scheduled on the campus April 24 at Bp. m. in Emenns Col-lege-Community auditorium. A sophomore at the university.

BOVS' STATER — Roily Robison has been named to represent the Lusharg high school at Boys’ State this summer. He is president of the junior class, a member of the varsity basketball team, sings in ehvrus. and plays saxophone in the band. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Robison of Leesburg.

In his years at MHS Greg has tried to gain enough knowledge for college. After graduating this spring Greg plans to attend Indiana j university to study pre-njed. He w ill have a® extension to Fort Wayne and then transfer to Bloomington. Greg doesn't feel that anyone can I predict the world's future. Lakeland Music Festival Is Smashing Success Friday
The annual Lakeland Community" School Corporation’s music festival held at North Webster on Friday was a smashing success. During the choral program James Turner conducted the combined choir as it sang “Prayer for Peace” by Dawn with Reader Steve Snyder and “Nobody's Business" by Rodby with Terry Mazey as soloist. Sherri Rider was accompanist. James Lentz conducted the choir as it sang “Psalm 150” by Lewandowski. Preston of 92 North Shore drive, Syracuse, w ill participate in the Miss Scholarship Pageant to be held in the Henry Clav auditorium at Lexington. Ky.. on March 23. Miss Patrick is a senior at Good Samaritan School of Nursing, an affiliate of the University of Kentucky. She is one of 13 young ladies who won in the first-round competition. For her talent she will perform a dramatic monologue. The winner will represent the city of Lexington in the .Miss Kentucky Pageant.
