FINC’ASTLE Quiet a number of perents and j relatives of DePauw students : who had come to spend Mothers Day weekend with their sons came to attend services at our church Sunday morning* Mrs. Sadie Sheehy of Cloverdale entertained the Fincastle Canasta Club with a luncheon on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Kelly and son of Ladoga were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Fosher Sunday. Mrs. Katherine Bridges left Wednesday to stay with Mrs. Edgar Pitts in Russellville. Dorothy the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dean was taken to the Riley Hospital Saturday for observation and treatment.
Wm. Hanna who was taken very ill early Saturday morning is slightly improved. The students from here who graduated this spring from the Roachdale and Russellville schools left Sunday for a tour of th e East. : Mr. 'and Mrs. Charles Miller and family who have been living in Florida moved to the Earl Miller farm this week. Several from here attended the Bainbridge, Roachdale and Russellville commencements this week. • Miss Nancy Huber is vacationing in Florida this week.
