We are not informed whether or not they took their game and ate it. The Friendly Neighbors Club held their regular meeting at the Turkey Creek Conservation Club. Wednesday. It was a Xmas party. Secret Pals gave up their secret and new names were drawn. An exchange of gifts and the refreshments —they voted it a most enjoyable meeting. The Kappa Sigma Tau held their yearly dinner and initiation meeting at the Marine Club. The members wore peaked hats in various colors, wiiich were matched by the place cards. Also on the decorated tables were cleverly designed flying birds. The mighty deer hunters. Vqrn Brinkman. Roscoe Howard. Fred Hoopingarner, Donald Davis andi Orley Farouque. on their recent trip, really brought back the deer, in plenty, in spite of the rain and fog which beset them. Various households in Syracuse and nearby, can attest to that. Dozens of roasts, steaks, etc. were enjoyed by over a hundred hearty venison-eaters. Lots of new dresses in dressy models for Christmas parties for the young girls. Mrs. Wm. G. Connolly
