New Town Ordinance AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE BURNING OF TRASH, WEEDS, OR LEA VESS IN THE STREETS, SIDEWALKS, OR ALLEYS IN SAID TOWN AND SETEING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED by the board of Trustees of the Town of Speedway, Indiana that from and after the passing and publication of this ordinance it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation tc burn on the streets, alleys, or sidewalks in the Town of Speedway any trash, weeds, or leaves, at any time during the day or night. Any person violating the above ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction in any Court of proper jurisdiction be fined in any sum not exceeding Ten ($10) dollars. The Town Clerk-Treasrurer is hereby authorized and directed tc publish this ordinance by posting it in one conspicuous place in each ward of said town as required by law.
