AT Till: AI WTOKIl M. Marguerite Snow and William Nigh, two of the most versatile and popular members of the Metro family, are appearing at the Auditorium today in a five-part sensational feature entitled "His Greatest Triumph." said to be a distinct novelty. It's the story of "Buttsy Gallagher, a harmless young product of the east side, who suddenly finds that he has come into what he considers fame, through being accused of a murder he did not commit. The attention and notoriety he receives Matters him. and when he finds he is going to lose it all and that his lawyer is oing to prove him innocent, "Buttsy" pleads guilty. The manner in which this complication is unfolded, and the introduction of a strong contract of life among the wealthy class. Is said to form one of the most delightful series of situations. The story has given the director unlimited opportunity to present many interesting glimpses of New York life. Regardless of expense or effirt, he .arranged to have his players photographed in action In the Tombs, on the Bridge of Sihs, in Chinatown, the Bowery, in Fifth a v.. Central park and other well known places of interest. In addition to this feature the third chapter of the Hillie Burke serial "Oloria's Romance" will be shon. The new serial has been very popular from the start. Miss Burke completely captivatinK all the picture fans in town. Some interesting developments occur In this release and some magnificent scenes are shown. Tomorrow's Triangle program includes "Civilization's Child," a fivepart drama, with William II. Thompson and Anna Lehr, and "Bath House Blunder," a two-reel comedy.
AT Tili; laSALLE. An exceptionally strong melodrama will 'be seen at the UtSalle today in "Her Great Hour," with Molly Mclntyre, the noted Scotch actress, in the leading role. The story was written as well as produced hy Stanner K. V. Taylor and is a fine type of melodrama in which the characters of the play do more distinctly human things than are sometimes attributed to the characters of this style of photoplay. There is a false accusation concerning the theft of a valuable diamond that lends mysterious situalions to the plot. Throughout the production is said to be an excellent one, rich in settings and costuming and portrayed by an exceptional ca.st including Richard Lynn, Martin Alsop and "P. J. Lemae. Gerda Holmes, a talented player for tho camera, is seen in the "heavy" part and is to be highly commended, for her excellent work. Katherine Kaelred. a celebrated star of both the legitimate stage and the photodramatic stage, will be featured at the Uwalle on Friday In an adaptation of the famous novel by William Locko entitled "Idols." at Tin: oitiMircuM. "Baby Mine," the laugh-play of the centurj' will be presented by the Jack Bessey company, now playing at the Orpheum, for today's performances. This piece wa.s constructed for amusement purposes only. There is nothing like it and l.othiner "just as good." It makes the heart bubble with merriment and chases away the frowns of care. It has tears but they are tears of laughter, and it also has its little tragedies, but they are of merry misunderstanding and altogether it is considered one of the most entertaining of the light plays nowbeing presented. Both Mr. Bessey and Nell Paul have congenial roles and the cast in the support is sieen at their best. On Friday Mabel Harrison's former success, "The Blue Mouse," will be offered and concluding the evening's performance will be a public wedding of a prominent Mishawaka I couple on the Orpheum stage in full view of the spectators. This is a. bona fide ceremony and will be read by a regularly ordained minis- j tcr. at tin: coia;ial. A three-reel special, "Armadale." is ba.-ed on the famous novel by llkie OVdlins. Alexander Claden ' plays the part of James Midwinter and Iva Shepard. the vimpire woman, plays the part of the scheming governess who tries to poison Allen Armadale, jr. The story is crowded with incidents: it keeps the observer's attention closely fixed through the entire play. The father's confession is pictured in a realistic way, the fire ai sea beinsr extra fine. A big thrill in every change. The theme of the narrative shows how a son tries to atone for h'.s father's sins.
