JOE WILLIAMS DIES FROM INJURIES MONDAY AFTERNOON.

Operated Upon Last Night But To« Late to Save Life. - ? '* Joe Williams, of six miles north of town, who was kicked by a mule last Friday, died this Monday afternoon from his injuries. t His physician advised an operation at the time but could not get the con* sent of the patient until Sunday and his local physician and a Chicago doc* tor performed an operation upon him Sunday night at 12 o’clock. The oper* ation disclosed that one of the bowel* had been perforated by the kick and one of the kidneys injured. The doc* tots pronounced his injuries fatal and expected death to result sooner than it did. { Deceased was a prominent citizen of his township. He leaves a wild and six children, three boys and three girls. Arrangements have not yet been made for the
