Death Of Jonathan Pancoast

Jonathan Pancoast, an old and well known resident of Newton township, died Monday evening, at nine oclock, at the home of his s >n Cicerp Pancoast, five or six miles sonthwestfof town. His strength had been gradually failing for a longtime, and his death was the result of the general weakness of old age, and with no other appar entsickness. His age would have been 86 years next January. The funeral will be held Wednesday, at 10 a. m., at the resi deuce, by Rev. J. C. Parrett. Intorment will be made in Yeoman cemetery.
