Here's Proof!

DETROIT, MICH. Walt-

Ing for a bus can almost be a pleasure if the time la spent in attractive new bus shelters such as those being Installed at Detroit. The all-steel shelters are part of the nationwide program to encourage greater use of public transportation by pro Tiding the commuter with comfort and convenience. The shelters can be furnished with heaters, lights, telephones and roomy seats. Nickel stainless steel is used extensively for added beauty, resistance to corrosion, and easy mainte

nance. Developed from prototypes built by Republic Steel Corporation, the enclosed shelters are designed in five-foot sections and can be extended to accommodate any number of passengers. The City of Detroit received a Federal grant to help finance twothirds of the cost of its bus shelter program. Similar grants, administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, are being made available to communities throughout the United States.

NEW YORK Are women more sensitive than men? The answer is yes, two to one- at least so far aa their teeth are concerned. That is a finding revealed in a new booklet about sensitive teeth, a problem that bothers more than 15 million Americans. Twice as many women are affected as men. A major reason may be that women brush more vigorously and oftener than the lazier male, but tend to brush the wrong way. There Are Symptoms Sudden sharp pain and discomfort can come from tasting hot coffee, or cold ice cream, or anything sweet or sour, or from biting an apple, or even touching teeth with' a fork. fie sure to see your dentist, and also get a toothpaste called Thermodent, made specifically to help relieve sensitivity. Young and Old A free booklet about sensitive teeth, explaining the phenomenon that attacks young and old, is just published. Write to Thermodent, Leeming Division of Chas. PHILADELPHIA STICKY BUMS ACQUIRE PEANUT TOPPING

Philadelphia Is the home of many fine food specialties, not the least of which are the famous topsy-turvy sweet rolls known as Philadelphia Sticky Buns. Traditionally baked in a heavy skillet containing a mixture of brown sugar and nuts, the buns are inverted after baking so that the bottom becomes the topping. Here, Philadelphia Sticky Buns take on new flavor and appeal with a caramel topping studded with Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts. Peanut Sticky Buns are traditionally prepared as a yeast dough; they're baked in muffin cups to make little individual rolls. The tangy new flavor and crispness of dry roasted peanuts is produced by roasting the nuts in high temperature ovens without oil or sugar, but with a light seasoning of spices. As a result, Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts are unusually crisp and dry to the touch making them a "natural" for adding flavor and crunchiness to a variety of baked goods. In Philadelphia, Sticky Buns are served at breakfast, tea

and dinner. At the turn of the century, they were purchased fresh each day from street vendors.

However, Peanut Sticky Buns are easy to prepare yourself, and may be frozen to keep fresh longer.
