Hoyd Dallinger , presi dent of West Point Township Extension Horoemaxers Club, entertained the members in her home for the monthly meeting on October 17. Mis. Robert Tipton led the group in repeat' ing the Club Creed and the Flag Salutes. Mrs. Emest Sanbloom presented the devotions. "Beatitudesof the Aged' and "Which Savn , Is The Most Beautiful." I The story of the song of the 1 month. "Down in The Valley." was told by Mrs. Robert Goss and sung by the group. Anni versary song was sung to Mrs. Glenn Meadors and Mrs. Charles Murphy. The health and safety leader. Mrs. Meadors. explained the first aid treatment for poisoning. The aim of first aid is to prevent absorption of poison in the body. A health qui z fo llowed. -'-, .!.- Thr project lesson. "New Ways Wuh Vegetables." was presented and demonstrated by Mrs. Alfred Romack. Vegetables are a good 'source of necessary minerals and vitamins. The West Point Township Extension Homemakers Club contributed to the United fund. Flowers and cards were sent to two hospitalized members. Mrs Donald Park and Mrs. Edith Duff. 1 ' The president, Mrs. Dallinger, reported 169 leaflets of informational topics requested during the 4 H Fair were mailed to interested visitors. The public is invited to visit Craft Day on November 7 to see the displays and leam to make the several crafts taught. This special interest lesson by the White County women 'will be held at the 4 H Building at I 30-5 p.m. and 7 309 p m. on November 7th. ' Officers Training will be November 13 at 1 30 at the 4.H Building. Mrs. Ernesti Sanbloom will be how ess at a noon luncheon in her home on November 21 for West Point Township Extension Homemakers Club. 1
