REMINGTON BUSINESSMAN, DIES Wilbur Francis Lynch, a member of the Remington postoffice staff and co-operator with his wife of the Remlng- ' too Five and Ten Cent Store, died very suddenly and uneipectedly early Sunday morning. September 29. 1963. Ills death was attributed to a heart attack. . Mr. Lynch was born in White Plains. N. Y.. May 20. 1909. He was married to Louise I Huff In , Hunlngtoo. Indiana. "December 30. 1936. and had made his home in Remington for twenty-nine Surviving Mr Lynch with his widow are a daughter. Mrs. i Phyllis Durfey. of Spncervlile. a son. Gary Lynch, of Moscow. Idaho, three brothers and a sister of New York state and seven grandchildren. The funeral services were held at the Rushtoo Smith Funeral Home in Remington Tuesday. October 1. with Father Fred Schroeder officiating. Interment was in the 1.0 O F. cemetery in Marion. Births Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Dot son are the parents of a daughter. Deann Annette, born September 30 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Lafayette. She weighed ntde pounds, one ounce Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs Louis Mathew and paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Dot son The new baby has two sisters. Dana and Denise. Mr and Mrs. Alvln Furref of Reynolds axe the parents of a daughter bora September 28 at Home Hoepltal in Lafayette. Lt. tnd Mrs D. J. Gagnoa of San Antonio. Tea., are the parents of a daughter born September 26. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. L. II. Victor of Brookston. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. George D. Gagnon of Brookston.

R. R. 1. Wolcott, passed away about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday nighty October X at Lafayette. Ind. She had been in ill health for six weeks. I Mrs. Miller was born in Princeton Township the daugh ter of Moses and Jane Kinney Dobbins. She was married to Eltle Miller in 1907. One son. Cyril. Arlington Heights, 111., survives. Mr. Miller passed away in 1963. They nad lived in Princeton Township since 1918. She was an active mem ber of the Palestine Christian Church. Sep tember 28 with the Rev Dew ey Finley officiating Inter ment was in (he Wheatfteld cemetery 1 Mr and Mrs Nelson were asphyxiated by funes from a gas heater at approximately seven a m Tuesday as they slept Mr Nelson was born In Dennurk September 23. 1880, and was married to Miss Mary Elizabeth Grows in Rensselaer October 1909 A Mrs Nelson was born in White County. October 16. 1892 Mr and Mrs Nelson were members of Tefrt Methodist Church Surviving them are three daughters. REMINGTON FATALLY INJURED TUESDAY Robert Nussbaum. 52. of Remington died at the scene of an automobile accident at the intersection of State Road 18 and U S231-SR S3, west of Brookston. at 8:25 Tuesday morning Nussbaum was thrown! from his auto, which was struck by a 1967 Chevrolet, owned and driven by Edward H DeMoss. Jr.. age 51. of 3907 Brookfield. Louisville. Kentucky Driver At Faslt Falls to Stop According to the report by law officers, an unidentified older model car which was headed east on State Road 18 apparently failed to yield, and passed through the intersection Nussbaum. in a Merecedes Benz. was headed south, and when he applied his brakes to avoid the collision, his auto skidded left of center At the same time. DeMoss. enrbute north also applied his brakes and veered to the right The impact occured about eight feet off the berm. south of the intersection DeMoss was taken to Home Hospital in Lafayette with lacerations on the chin and suffering chest pains, He also has possible damage to his front teeth ' David Habben of Route 1. Brookston. who had just taken ' pupils to the Round Orove School, was first at the scene and summoned aid ' Investigating the accident were State Trooper Robert Fox. White County Sheriff LeRoy Famey. Deputy Sheriff Ralph Vannatta. State Trooper Robert Jennings and Deputy Coroner Marvin Stewart Mr Nussbaum was born in Jasper County August 7. 1916 He was married to the former Joanne Men lit of Rem ington. September 10. 1939. who survives Mr Nussbaum had lived all of his life in the Reming ton area and graduated from i Remington High School He 1 was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Remington He was a partner ln Fairview Farms and owned and operated a dressing plant also Surviving besides the wire are three children Mrs Nancy Helderle. Wolcott; Mrs Carol Bodle. Mtshawaka: and WilUamla student at Purdue Uni versity at Lafayette He leaves three brothers: Edward and Marvin of Rerruhgton and Jack of Frankfort A sister.
