Norma J. Bean September 19. 2004 GOSHEN Norma J. Bean, 78, of Nappanee died Sept. 19 at 4:40 a.m. at Goshen General Hospital of natural causes. She was a lifelong Nappanee area resident. She is survived by her son, David (Sharon) Bean of Nappanee; and three grandchildren. Visitation was held Sept. 21 at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home of Nappanee from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services were held at the funeral home Sept. 22 at 10:30 a.m. with burial following at South. Union Cemetery. Memorials may be dedicated to the Hemophilia Foundation. Gladys Leone Dinkeldein September 20, 2004 GOSHEN Gladys Leone Dinkeldein. 96, formerly of Nappanee died Sept. 20 at 10:55 p.m. at Greencroft Nursing Center of natural causes. She was a lifelong Nappanee area resident. She is survived by a daughter, Anna Jo (Charles) Jones of Nappanee; two sons, Jerry (Arlene) Dinkeldein of Goshen, and Wayne (Martha) Dinkeldein of Nappanee; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Royce "John" (Velma) Biller of Warsaw. Visitation was held Sept. 24 at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home of Nappanee from 1 to 3 p.m. Funeral services were held at the funeral home Sept. 24 at 3 p.m. with burial following at Union Center Cemetery. The Rev. Janet McFall-Brown officiated the ceremony. Memorials may be dedicated to Greencroft Nursing Center. Timothy L. Mast September 24, 2004 ELKHART Timothy L. Mast, 45, of Nappanee died Sept. 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Elkhart General Hospital. He had been ill since May 2004. He had resided in Nappanee since 1991. He was in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Balboa Naval Base in San Diego, aboard the U.S.S. Hornet. He was also a former Nappanee Smokey Stover. He is survived by his wife, Wilma; his parents. Lester and Allene Mast of Nappanee; two daughters, Amber (Brian) Stump of Nappanee, and Heidi Miller of Nappanee; six grandchildren; one brother, Richard DeGroff of Nappanee: and two sisters, Nancy Dougherty of Nappanee, and Sue (Doug) Troyer of Walkerton. Visitation was held Sept. 26 at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home of Nappanee from 2 to 4 p.m, 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Funeral services were held at the First Church of God, Sept. 27 at 2 p.m. with burial following at Union Center Cemetery. The Rev. Sam Bennett officiated the ceremony. A military graveside service was held by the Nappanee American Legion. Memorials may be dedicated to the Tim Mast Memorial Fund. Susan E. Miller September 24.2004 NAPPANEE Susan E. Miller, 49, of Nappanee died Sept. 24 at 5:40 p.m. at her residence of natural causes. She was a lifelong Nappanee area resident. „ She is survived by her husband, Paul; her mother, Sylvia Graber of nappanee; three daughters. Velinda Miller, home, Debra (Marcus) Miller of Nappanee, and Denae Miller, home; three sons, Ryan (Janette) Miller of Nappanee, Darren Miller, home, Kyle Miller, home; a granddaughter; a brother, Loren (Esther) Graber of Nappanee; two sisters, Pauline (Bill) Miller of Millersburg, and Neva (Marvin) Miller of Grove City, Minn.; and a sister-in-law, Amanda Graber of Nappanee. Visitation was held at Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church, Sept. 25 from 3 to 6 p.m., and Sept. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services were held at the church, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. with burial following at Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church Cemetery. FT. WAYNE Lisa Yvette Burch-Fear, 43, of Goshen, died Saturday, Sept. 25 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, of natural causes. She is survived by companion Brett W. Abbott of Goshen; a daughter, Leah Y. Fear of Nappanee; her mother, Naomi C. Niemier of Plymouth; sisters, Valerie Ottow, Sheila A. Tumage and Sheri N. Masterson, all of Plymouth and Renita Van Deventer of South Bend; and brothers, Roger L. Burch of Plymouth and Keenan L. Burch of LaPaz. Visitation was Sept. 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home of Plymouth. Funeral services were Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial followed at the Tyner Cemetery of Tyner. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Stamp Club The Ben Franklin Stamp Club will meet at the library on Saturday, Oct. 9. Dr. Forest Kendall, a local collector, is responsible for organization of the club, and leads discussions concerning tips for new and experienced stamp collectors. Anyone in third grade through adult with an interest in stamp collecting and trading is invited to attend. Participants will learn more about stamps and stamp collecting and participate in games for prizes. The club meets the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. at the library. Intro to Internet The library offers a class for those unfamiliar with surfing the web on the second Monday of each month. The next session will be held on Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at the library. Several ways to search for information on the Internet will be demonstrated. Book Club Read along with the “Cover to Cover Book Club” at the library! The club will meet on Sunday, Oct. 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. to discuss their next title “The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant. Board Meeting The Wakarusa Library Board will meet on Oct. 8 at 8:30 a.m. in the library meeting room. New Die Cuts The Friends of the Wakarusa Library have purchased new die cuts for the library. The new die cuts are mini acorns, mini snowflakes, a foot, a Christmas ornament, mini candy, a caterpillar, a jumbo pennant and several pentominoes. These will be available to anyone, bring your own paper and cut your shapes. Use these die cut shapes for bulletin boards, room decorations, thin foam stamps, scrapbooking and more. This service is free.

Microsoft Excel - Level 1 Learn the basic skills needed to work with electronic spreadsheets in this entry-level class. The eightmodule course will cover how to build a worksheet, enter and edit text, and more. Students may register for individual modules for $lO each or the series as a whole for $65.
