Administration as a result of the new military pav bill which became effective June l, says B. T. Stott, officer-in-charge of South Bend VA Office. It will not affect survivor benefit payments to all widows whose veteran husbands died of service-connected causes, but widows entitled to increases will receive an additional benefit
of from $1 to $3 per month. Since each case must be individually examined, it will tdke several months to adjust accounts of all widows entitled to the increased payments. Widows already on VA rolls need take no action to receive any increase to which the new law may entitle them. It will be paid automatically. Stott emphasized, and will be retroactive to June 1. Widows receiving VA pension for the non - service - connected deaths of their husbands are not affected in any way by the new law, Stott added. PINK AND BLUE SHOWER FOR MRS. E.
