HARTZELL - DAVIDHIZER Miss Donna Hartzell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hartzell, Millwood, became the bride of Virgil Davidhizer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Davidhizer of Wakarusa at 4:45 o’clock Saturday, Sept. 29, in the Millwood Chapel church with Rev. John Hartman, pastor of the church officiating. Mrs. Ernest Parks, pianist and Miss Rosemary Harman, vocalist, ! presented a musicaPe prelude.. A large basket of yellow and white chrysanthemums were arranged at the altar, with lighted candles in tall candelabra. in the background. The bride wore a gown of lace | trimmed marquisette over satin. Her Anger tip veil was caught in ■ a tiara of pearls. She carried ' her white Bible with red rosebuds and baby breath tied with white satin ribbon. I Miss Ilah Hartzell, sister of the 1 bride, was maid of honor and Mrs. Harold Berkey was an attendant. Miss Hartzell was attired in a blue taffeta gown and Mrs. Berkey of Goshen, wore Rose taffeta. Each wore head, bands matching her gown and carried yellow and white mums. The ring bearer, Charlene Hartzell. cousin of the bride, was gowned in yellow taffeta. Attending the groom were Robert Hartzell, brother of the bride and Harold Berkey. of Goshen. ! A reception for 40 guests was held at the home, of the bride’s parents, following the marriage service. Miss Dixie Whitehead, , Miss Jean Hartzell and Mrs. DeIvon Hartzell assisted in serving. Mr. and Mrs. Davidhizer then left on a short wedding trip. ! The birthday of Mrs. Richard Harman was celebrated at the Harman home Sunday with a big turkey dinner. The following guests each brought a dish of food: Mrs. Martha Harman and family. The Indiana Church of God Youth Conference was held at the Blue River church near Churubuseo Saturday and Sunday. Saturday evening the Mt. Tabor quartet furnished special music. Misses Berneice Harlan and , Mary Applegate made a three ! day trip to Brown county and I Johnson county last week where 1 they enjoyed the beautiful autiumn scenery and visited friends. | Class No. 5 of the Mt.
