Tho tuil went through one body of the Iiouse, Hid it wouid be a good idea to try It igaln. s that stitne action Mould he t!:n, locking forward to the amalgama.ion of the cities In the near future. Mr. Crump8eker, who touched unor '.he same question, said in pnrt: "We a.11 know that this preposition of amalramation h-"s been hanging fire for tun ir three year, and there is no question '.hat the public should ha-, e the opportunity to express their lev s on it in a form of a vote. If nothing !s done now. continued Mr. Crumpacker. before the legislature adjourns, then nothing more can be done for at least two years.
