Bv GISELA WEISZ THE PARTY: The lovely garden party honoring the volunteers on June 2 at the 1 ndianapolis Museum of Art drew 800 people. It was a black tie affair, with the sound of the big bands reminiscent Weisz of the 40s. Mingling at the society event were Alice and Leonard Berkowitz, Harriet and Bud Wolf, Bob and Marilyn Yassin, Jodie and Morris Stoner, Florie Leviton, Trudy and Bob Hollander, Jennie and Jack Kammins, Shelley Shane and Irene and Sam Goldberg.

LEADERS : The youth organization, Camp Fire, previously open for girls only, now have members of both sexes. Sharon and Sidney Mishkin’s three youngsters, Tracy, 13, Jennifer, 10, and Joe, 8, are involved in this organization. The Mishkins are helpful and active supporters of the local Camp Fire. Sid serves also as an unofficial legal counsel for the area. As a reward for his labors, Sid was recommended by this organization to become this year’s recipient of the Special People Award, presented by “Women in Communication”. * * *

Rayus Club Sees King Tut Slides The annual guest luncheon and closing meeting of the Rayus Club heard Stephen E. DeMougin, of the Indiana State Board of Health, explain slides of the King Tut Exhibition that has been shown in major museums. The luncheon was held at noon Sunday, June 3 at Lotus Gardens in Carmel. Opening and closing prayers were given by Mrs. Harold Zukerman and Mrs. A1 Samberg. Blessing of the bread was rendered by Mrs. Abe Rambatz and Mrs. Herman Stein welcomed the members and guests. A resume of the year’s activities and goals was given by Mrs. Samuel Engel.
